A/C Control AutoFlight Designated Certification Specialist – “DCS” (m/f)
Join our AutoFlight Certification & Safety team based in Toulouse, France. Your role involves certifying and ensuring the airworthiness of the AutoFlight system for a given Airbus Program.
Your challenges
Certification
- Define the Certification Plan and negotiate with the airworthiness authorities (AA).
- Coordinate stakeholders such as designers, test centers, pilots for the issuance of the means of compliance (MOC).
- Interface with the Airworthiness Authorities through the process.
Airworthiness activities (aircraft in service)
- Lead, in close cooperation with designers, the reporting and escalation of potential safety issues and contribute to prevention/correction actions during continuous airworthiness assessment.
- Lead the interface with the Airworthiness Authorities during Airworthiness Review Meetings.
- Contribute with the safety organization to system safety analysis: Functional Hazard Analysis (FHA), System Safety Assessment (SSA), Common Mode Analysis (CMA), Master Minimum Equipment List (MMEL).
Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in system safety, system certification and qualification, flight controls or auto flight system development.
- Experience in system architecture and integration or engineering.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills.
- Autonomy and ability to motivate diverse teams.
- Negotiation level in English and French.
