Family Worker

Family Worker at Les Capelles Methodist Church & Capelles Community Centre

12 hours per week (term time) with some flexibility for special events. Fixed-term contract – 36 months.

Start date: 1st September 2026. Salary: Appropriate for role and experience.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Family Worker to help develop and support work with children and families in our neighbourhood. The role includes working with volunteers to build links with schools, uniformed organisations and the community. The Family Worker will explore needs and use creative ways to encourage families to explore Christian Faith.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children and families.
• Is organised, approachable, and uses initiative.
• Has good communication and teamwork skills.
• Understands safeguarding, confidentiality, and is empathetic to the Christian Faith.
