MBS invites applications for three permanent, full‑time positions, expected to commence 1 September 2026. Candidates should be able to teach in French and English and may relocate to Montpellier or nearby. A focus on sustainable transformation and related topics is considered a plus.

- Assistant/Associate Professor of Management of Information Systems & AI
Ideal candidate holds a PhD in Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related field, with a publication record in peer‑reviewed journals focused on IS strategy, data governance, cybersecurity, digital transformation, analytics, or AI ethics. Research should explore data governance frameworks, privacy/GDPR compliance, digital risk, AI adoption, business analytics, or human‑AI collaboration. Teaching competencies include IS management, IS governance, data management, AI and generative‑AI literacy, business intelligence (Python/Colab, modern BI tools), and digital innovation methodologies. Ability to integrate ethical, regulatory, and organisational perspectives and support lab‑based instruction is essential.
- Assistant/Associate Professor of Management & Organizations
Ideal candidate holds a PhD in Management with a specialization in Organization or a related field, and demonstrates a strong record of peer‑reviewed publications on societal transition, responsible leadership, sustainable business strategy, SDG integration, or socio‑environmental innovation. Teaching responsibilities may include Responsible Management, Sustainability & SDG Strategy, and challenge‑based learning formats such as SDG hackathons, sustainability entrepreneurship projects, and experiential team‑based missions. Must be adept at facilitating applied sustainability practice and inspiring transformative action.
- Assistant/Associate Professor of HR Management
Ideal candidate holds a PhD in Management (Organizational Behaviour/HRM) or a closely related field, with a record of peer‑reviewed publications on cultural intelligence, cross‑cultural communication, inclusive leadership, performance systems, or the organisational outcomes of diversity and inclusion. Should deliver courses in cross‑cultural management, inclusive leadership, inclusive performance management, and entrepreneurship pedagogy. Must demonstrate experience with experiential and challenge‑based learning, design culturally inclusive learning environments for international cohorts, and partner with external firms, startups, and cultural institutions.
