External Fulfillment Project Manager, External Fulfillment Ops Excellence

Overview

We are seeking a talented Program Manager to join our Ops Excellence team to play an instrumental role in the evolution of our EU External Fulfilment (EF) network, comprising around 60 sites operated by 3PLs for Amazon.

The External fulfillment network is experiencing strong growth, with 25+ new launches in 2026 adding to existing 30+ sites. EF provides network capacity solve, special fulfilment, and market expansion solutions across EU7, and is becoming an increasingly important piece of the broader Amazon fulfillment strategy.

Responsibilities

The Operational Excellence team within the External Fulfillment organization is a key enabler of this growth and of the performance of existing sites. We are the unique support function to EF Operations, and our main responsibilities are:

• Drive projects to improve site performance or reach parity with Amazon 1P sites
• Be the SMEs on all process paths (Inbound, packaging, Flow, Sortation, Transportation, Returns, Inventory, etc.) to support our operations and solve problems
• Build the knowledge base and coordinate upskilling and training of new 3PL providers
• Support new launches through audits, configurations, and on-site support
• Own data pipeline, including external dashboards and leadership reporting
• Much more

Within External Fulfillment Ops Excellence, you will join our Ship & Transportation vertical, owning everything happening post-slam in our sites.

As a program manager in our team, you will be expected to:

• Build relations with central teams that are key to our connectivity and transportation execution (ROC, TNC, SortTech, Network Engineering, etc.)
• Drive independently projects to improve processes, increase performance of the sites and drive parity with Amazon warehouses
• Run Deep dives through queries and support operations in solving day-to-day problems arising
• Support launches (travel ~30% expected) by being the Ship SME
• Develop processes, SOPs, trainings, to ensure our network upskills and is compliant with best practices
• Run audits on sites and solve issues with the 3PL providers

About The Team

Our Ops Excellence team is divided into six main verticals:

• Inbound Excellence (Owning Inbound and Vrets)
• Outbound Excellence (owning Packaging and Flow)
• Ship Excellence (owning post-slam sortation, transportation, speed)
• Quality Excellence (owning inventory quality and capacity)
• Business Intelligence (owning data pipeline and reporting)
• Control Tower (owning daily site execution support)

You will join the Ship Excellence vertical.

Basic Qualifications

• Understanding of ecommerce operations and End-to-End processes
• Experience in project management and process improvement
• Stakeholder management with experience interacting with 20+ different internal and external teams
• Data affinity with proven data crunching capability
• Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
• 4+ years of experience with Shipping and Transportation in Logistics

Preferred Qualifications

• 3PL experience
• SQL knowledge
• Advanced proficiency in French or German language
