Job description:

YOUR ROLE :

The FinOps Manager, attached to the "Global Productions & Services" department, will be responsible for managing and optimizing financial operations related to cloud services with multiple cloud providers. This role is crucial to ensure cost efficiency, financial transparency, and planning to support the company's cloud infrastructure and services.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

· Financial Management & Reporting:

o Develop and maintain comprehensive financial reports related to cloud expenses.

o Monitor and analyze cloud expenses to identify cost-saving opportunities.

o Implement financial controls and governance to ensure budget compliance.

· Cost Optimization:

o Collaborate with teams to optimize cloud usage and reduce costs.

o Develop and implement cost-saving strategies, including proper sizing, reserved instances, and spot instances.

o Conduct regular audits and reviews of cloud services to ensure cost efficiency.

o Stay informed about the latest offers and pricing models from cloud providers.

· Budgeting and Tracking:

o Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for cloud expenses.

o Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support strategic planning.

o Track actuals and communicate at different levels of granularity: applications, projects, providers, entities.

· Collaboration:

o Manage the FinOps expert team, plan activities, and co-construct the FinOps service roadmap.

o Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to understand cloud usage patterns and needs.

o Educate and train internal stakeholders on best practices for cloud financial management.

o Promote a culture of cost awareness and financial responsibility within the organization.

Profile description:

· Master's degree in Engineering or a university degree specialized in Computer Science.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position and with multiple Cloud providers (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).

· Relevant certification (e.g., FinOps Certified Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) is a plus.

· Fluent in French and English.

· Good adaptability and communication skills.

· Excellent ability to coordinate different stakeholders.

· Strong organizational and project management skills.

· Attention to detail and proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.

· Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).

· Experience with cloud cost management tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, AWS Cost Explorer).

· Good understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, including pricing models and billing systems.
