Job Description
Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a Structural Stress Engineer (f/m) to join our Customer Service Repair Department based in Toulouse, France. You will be part of a team developing Structural Repair Manual (SRM) documentation. As part of the stress, design and technical data engineering team, you will be involved in creating structural stress justifications and introducing customer recurrent cases aiming at providing the best repair manuals to airlines and allowing aircraft dispatch.

Your challenges
- Create and validate stress justifications for structural repair solutions.
- Analyze aircraft structure (Nose/Center Fuselage, pylon, engine mounts) and publish Structure Repair Manual (SRM) documentation.
- Anticipate and introduce customer recurrent engineering cases within the generic SRM solutions.
- Coordinate technical interfaces on a daily basis across Airbus divisions and manage the subcontracting network.
- Drive continuous improvement of working methods and support the team's digital transformation.
Your boarding pass
- At least 5 years of professional experience in stress analysis, focusing on static analysis for both metal and composite calculations.
- Strong proficiency in stress analytical or FEM tools, and standard Airbus tools (ISAMI, ISAMI Xpress).
- Proven ability to write and understand Python scripts for data manipulation and task automation.
- Understanding of fundamental machine learning concepts and algorithms for predictive modeling and data analysis.
- Advanced level of English and intermediate level of French.
