Single Aisle FEM Stress Engineer F/M

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Single Aisle FEM Stress Engineer (f/m) for the Structure & Dynamic Systems Analysis department in Toulouse, France.

Responsibilities

• Simulate structure behaviour using Finite Element Model (FEM) codes, including Global (GFEM) and detailed modelling (DFEM).
• Integrate loads and structural component FEM into global simulations.
• Coordinate structural FEM components and specify structural modelling rules.
• Perform verification, validation and advanced numerical simulation to support Structural Analysis problems.
• Correlate Full Scale Test (FST) data with GFEM and DFEM results to assure model accuracy.

Qualifications

• Background in Engineering, Aerospace or a related technical field.
• Proven experience in Finite Element Analysis, advanced numerical simulation methods and structure behaviour codes.
• Technical expertise in structural component integration, load integration and modelling rules specification.
• Strong skills in verification, validation and correlation of FST with GFEM and DFEM results.
• Professional proficiency in English.
