Experienced Smart Card Engineer

• Ensure interoperability of the Navigo pass and ticketing equipment
• Contribute to specifications and obtain RCTIF approvals
• Interact with Smart Ticketing teams and stakeholders in contactless technologies
• Provide expertise in radio-frequency communication and ticketing equipment
• Coordinate communication between smart card suppliers and transport operators
• Contribute to Navigo security and monitor Calypso technology

Requirements

• Master’s degree (Bac +5) in mechanical, electronic, or computer engineering (or equivalent)
• 3–5 years of experience as a consultant and/or project manager in the smart card sector, ideally in ticketing or payment systems
• Knowledge of open-payment banking schemes
• Experience writing functional specifications and working on public procurement/tender processes
• Strong interpersonal skills and ease of communication
• Analytical mindset, autonomy, and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team, curiosity, and enthusiasm
