We are seeking a results-driven Houseware Account Manager for Europe to lead the growth and performance of our OXO and Hydro Flask brands across key distributor networks. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, profitability, and market share while enhancing both in-store and online visibility. You will play a pivotal role in shaping a strong, consistent brand presence, optimising routes to market, and unlocking new business opportunities. Working closely with the central marketing team, you will translate strategy into impactful customer plans and support the Sales Director in managing key channels and territories.

Strategy Development

  • Successfully implementing the commercial strategy to drive revenue growth and improve profitability.
  • Building channel plans, defining must-win SKU–customer combinations, and translating these into clear customer strategies and execution plans.
  • Managing customer P&L by adapting to changing market conditions, identifying business opportunities, and optimising product portfolio, margin, and pricing strategies.
  • Recognising and developing new business opportunities to maximise both short- and long-term profit potential.
  • Leading strategic direction within existing accountabilities to strengthen alignment across EMEA, identifying and leveraging synergies within the sales team.
  • Formulating strategic agendas for assigned customers while developing and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Devising resource strategies for assigned customers, ensuring the most effective positioning and utilisation of our brands.
  • Focusing on driving a successful collaboration in France between department store/specialist channels and the mass market, with direct ownership of execution.

Account Management

  • Translating strategic direction (“Where to Play” – channels/customers and brand/SKU combinations, and “How to Win” – commercial activation) into annual agreements and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
  • Translating annual agreements into pricing structures and ongoing promotional pricing requests, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and shared with relevant customer service and commercial stakeholders.
  • Managing and monitoring KPIs to deliver against performance commitments (GSV $, GP %, ACM %) across the region and defined accounts.
  • Devising and executing a contact strategy that ensures full coverage of assigned customers, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams (Dotcom, Supply, Logistics, etc.) to deliver aligned outcomes.
  • Maximising distribution, in-store and online visibility, presentation, and promotional effectiveness across all assigned accounts.
  • Monitoring account performance in terms of volume, sales, margin, and budget adherence, taking corrective actions where needed.
  • Managing inventory levels, proactively driving the sale of excess stock and clearing obsolete inventory.
  • Forecasting as accurately as possible to support effective inventory management and minimise out-of-stock risks.
  • Focusing on building and managing relationships with direct customers in France to secure listings across key mass retail channels (e.g., grocery).

Admin & Reporting

  • Reporting periodically to management on predefined KPIs (NSV, ACM, etc.), while identifying gaps and implementing corrective initiatives where required.
  • Sharing insights, knowledge, and best practices across accounts, field sales, markets, and competitors with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, operations, customer care) to drive continuous improvement and execution excellence.
  • Managing administrative processes and completing required documentation to ensure new products, pricing, and trading terms are correctly set up in both customer and internal systems.
  • Supporting the Director of Sales/Sales Manager in organising third-party sales meetings.
  • Managing and controlling the POS budget effectively.
  • Maintaining customer-specific price lists, presentations, and product platforms.
  • Updating marketing calendars, promotional schedules, and internal communication platforms (e.g., Yammer).

Skills needed to be successful in this role

  • Excellent knowledge of the Retail scene within the region.
  • Budget & reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be fully fluent in French and English.
  • University Degree or comparable commercial education with at least 5+ years’ Account experience.
  • Authorized to work in France without immigration restrictions.
  • Full clean driver’s licence with access to your own vehicle.

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation package depending on experience and skills.
  • Flexible work policy with regards to working hours and work from home.
  • Increased flexi-days package after 1 year of service.
  • Employee assistance counselling line.
  • Employee discounts on all our EMEA products.
  • Lunch and Learns.
  • Company closure between Christmas and New Year’s.
  • The chance to work in an international, diverse, and inclusive environment.
