- A European leader in the design and manufacture of Masterbatch, colourants and additives for the plastics industry is seeking a Sales Manager to develop and strengthen their presence across Western France.
- Generating €50 million in revenue across three business units, the business manufactures and markets colouring solutions for plastics used across a wide range of industries including packaging, food processing, cosmetics, film and bag manufacturing, leisure, automotive and horticulture.
- As part of its continued growth strategy, the company is looking to further expand its commercial presence in the western region through proactive business development, new account acquisition and strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and strengthen the company’s market presence across Western France
- Identify and win new business opportunities through proactive prospecting and account development
- Manage, maintain and grow an existing customer portfolio across key market sectors
- Build long-term customer relationships through regular field-based engagement and technical-commercial support
- Monitor customer projects, market activity and emerging opportunities within the territory
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing and project follow-up with customers
- Act as the key interface between customers and the group’s manufacturing and technical teams
- Work autonomously to identify high-potential projects and drive territory growth
- Contribute to the company’s wider commercial growth strategy and annual sales objectives
- Define and manage the annual sales budget for the territory
Profile
- Previous commercial experience within the plastics industry would be advantageous, ideally within colouration/masterbatch/additives
- Experience managing B2B customer relationships, quotations and project follow-up
- Strong understanding of commercial sales processes and account development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships
- Team-oriented approach with the ability to integrate into an international group environment
- Motivated and proactive personality
- Entry-level candidates with strong commercial potential will also be considered
