Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Especialista en Pruebas de Videojuegos to enhance their dedicated quality assurance team. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies and test plans for complex video game projects.
• Lead and mentor junior QA testers, providing guidance on testing procedures and best practices.
• Perform in-depth functional, performance, stress, and compatibility testing across multiple platforms.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and proactively suggest improvements to game mechanics and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and producers, to resolve issues efficiently.
• Automate testing processes where feasible to improve efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain and update bug databases, ensuring clear and detailed reporting.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA methodologies and tools.
• Conduct root cause analysis for critical defects.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Tester de Videojuegos or QA Lead, with a strong portfolio of shipped titles.
• Expertise in creating and executing detailed test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira) and test management tools.
• Strong understanding of game development pipelines and technologies (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
• Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical issues clearly.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a remote team setting.
• Deep passion for video games and a comprehensive understanding of the gaming market.
• Experience with test automation frameworks is highly desirable.
