ESG Analyst
ESG Analysts evaluate environmental, social, and governance performance of companies and investment portfolios, developing frameworks to measure sustainability risks and opportunities. They produce ESG reports aligned with CSRD, GRI, and ISSB standards, conduct stakeholder assessments, and advise on responsible investment strategies. Growing demand across DACH and MENA markets due to mandatory CSRD reporting effective January 2025.
Role Summary
Purpose: To lead the integration of ESG metrics into core financial reporting and investment strategies, ensuring full compliance with the 2026 EU regulatory landscape and the EU AI Act.
Impact
This role directly influences the firm's capital allocation and ensures our AI‑assisted ESG scoring models remain compliant, transparent, and audit‑ready.
Team Structure
Part of the Sustainable Finance Group, collaborating with Data Science, Legal/Compliance, and Portfolio Management teams.
Reports To
Reports to the Head of ESG Strategy & Reporting.
Working Conditions
Standard business hours with flexibility; occasional evening calls for global stakeholder alignment. Travel required: 15%.
