Enterprise Insurance Scenario & Rubric Designer

The opportunity

IXO is seeking senior insurance practitioners to create paid AI evaluation material that reflects the demands of large enterprise insurance operations. The work requires familiarity with the complexity of Fortune 500 carriers, reinsurers or corporate insurance functions. That experience defines the scenarios used in the work.

Work and deliverables

• Build cases involving difficult commercial underwriting, claims decisions with several stakeholders, and the review cycles surrounding regulatory submissions or compliance questions.
• Cover underwriting and exposure assessment, claims operations, actuarial pricing and reserves, reinsurance decisions, and regulatory practice within your expertise.
• Reproduce credible operational constraints in exercises involving Guidewire, Duck Creek, SAS, R, actuarial models, and enterprise policy or claims administration systems, where relevant to the case.
• Apply actuarial risk methods, reserve analysis, enterprise risk management and NAIC requirements to explain how an experienced practitioner would approach the problem.
• Supply worked underwriting guidance, claims-handling strategies and risk explanations suitable for senior decision-makers.
• Write scoring guides that reward defensible enterprise judgment and expose answers that merely repeat textbook definitions or licensing material.

The outputs are a complete scenario, its supporting information, a reference response and an assessment rubric. Explain consequential assumptions and the reasoning that connects evidence to the recommended outcome.

Intended background

The target profile is at least five years in underwriting, claims, actuarial work or risk management at a Fortune 500 insurer or reinsurer, or within an equivalent Fortune 500 enterprise insurance/risk function. You should have personally owned substantial underwriting portfolios, claims processes or pricing models at that scale. Practical command of enterprise insurance tools, reserving, reinsurance treaties and regulatory compliance is central to the work.

Previous authorship of grading rubrics, actuarial or underwriting teaching material, or claims documentation is helpful rather than mandatory.

Engagement and pay

Advertised remote pay is $55 $65/hr USD. Forty hours weekly is an indicative planning figure, not a promised allocation. IXO confirms the actual rate, scope, schedule and duration before work begins. Applying does not guarantee an assignment.
