The Mission & Context
You join us to strengthen our technical team during a critical phase of product growth and architectural scaling. You will be a driving force in technical decision-making, ensuring code quality while helping the team reach new levels of technical maturity.
We aren't looking for a "ticket-executor." We are looking for the architect of our future scale. Our stack is proven (Java/Angular), but our challenges are anything but classic: complex business logic, high-performance needs, and the constant balance between rapid evolution and controlled technical debt.
Your Mission at Cenareo
Success in this role means that within 12 months, you have:
- People Management & Growth: Successfully onboarded and mentored your team of 5, implementing clear career paths and performance frameworks.
- Designed & Developed Core Features: Conceived and built high-performance application features in collaboration with the Tech Lead.
- Driven Technical Excellence: Participated in architectural workshops and shared best practices (REX) to evolve our platform's robustness.
- Mentored the Team: Accompanied junior developers through complex technical hurdles and promoted a product-oriented culture.
- Mastered the Scrum Flow: Actively contributed to our Agile organization to ensure rapid integration and team cohesion.
- Delivery Excellence: Optimized the team's velocity and well-being by balancing feature delivery with technical excellence.
Profile
Your qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills
- You have a previous successful experience in managing a team of software developers/engineers (at least 2+ years of management)
- You have at least 5+ years experience in professional development experience.
- You possess a deep expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, and Angular 17+.
- You demonstrate proficiency with GitLab and Docker and experience with Kubernetes is a major plus.
- You are passionate about mentorship, code reviews, and helping others level up.
- The "Plus": Knowledge of C++/Qt or a very strong appetite for front-end design.
- You speak fluent French and English.
You Must Have
- A "Product Sense" (you care about the why, not just the how).
- Fluent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical complexity and team collaboration.
- Operational autonomy and rigorous coding standards.
