Your Role

This position offers a double track as Strategy Consultant and Data Scientist.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of projects:

• Data & AI strategy projects (e.g., data roadmap connected to business strategy, Responsible AI governance)
• Data use case delivery projects (industrialized products), that often include the following: data science modeling, machine learning and advanced data processing and visualizations
• Advanced data analytics projects (e.g. in-depth analysis of complex data such as order book data on energy markets)
• Strategy projects (e.g., market opportunity, full potential strategic plan, strategic due diligence, etc.) that can be linked to data & AI topics or not

After an onboarding period, and under the guidance of partners and experienced consultants, you will join a project team and contribute to cracking a client's case.

Tasks

• Identify, scope, and prioritize use cases
• Collect and process data, using scraping technologies
• Prepare data, both structured and non-structured
• Find the adequate model to solve the problem
• Implement machine learning algorithms and relevant optimizations
• Find insights and communicate
• Program code at best standards to ensure proper industrialization
• Create meaningful and useful data products and visualizations
• Structure, analyze problems
• Conduct interviews, market analysis
• Analyze facts and translate them into meaningful insights and recos

What we are looking for

• MSc in General Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Statistics or Mathematics
• Sharp problem-solving capabilities and a good business acumen
• Keen at finding data science solutions to business problems
• Programming experience in Python, SQL
• Solid foundation in statistical modeling and machine learning techniques
• An understanding of the data techno ecosystem is a plus: NoSQL, Container technologies (Docker), cloud (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure), Gitlab
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Flawless command of oral and written English & possibly professional French
