Distribution Manager – Regional Portfolio Optimization (F&F and F&B Markets)

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Portfolio Management: Optimize and manage the distributor portfolio at the regional level, ensuring alignment with the Global Business Unit (GBU) strategy.
- Business Growth: Drive and develop business opportunities in the Flavors & Fragrances (F&F) and Food & Beverage (F&B) markets, expanding our reach and impact.
- Relationship Building: Establish and nurture sustainable relationships with key distributors to secure long-term commitment and partnership.
- Performance Excellence: Set clear KPIs, monitor distributor performance, and ensure contractual agreements are met.
- Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market and competitive information to monitor market share evolution and inform strategic decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Quality, Supply Chain, R&D, and Marketing teams to develop and implement commercial and marketing plans.
- Network Optimization: Continuously challenge and optimize distributor mapping to improve cost efficiency and service levels.
- Distributor Support: Understand distributor needs, provide necessary support, and ensure comprehensive product training.
- Opportunity Management: Identify and maintain accurate lists of business opportunities to fuel ongoing growth.
- Change Management: Manage changes within the distributor network, including selection, contracting, termination, and transfers.
You will bring
- A Master Degree in Business, Sales, or any related area
- At least 10 years of commercial experience, of which 5 in distribution management
- Business Development skills and capability to report consistent information from the market and customers
- Strong negotiation and pricing tactics skills
- Strategic analysis and decision-making capabilities
- People management and relationship builder skills
- Fluent English level (written and spoken)

- Competitive salary and benefits package
- The French annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: €75,520 to €94,400. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range. The primary location for this job is France; however, it may also be based in other countries. For other countries, local competitive salary conditions will apply in line with local legislation.
