The Distribution Sales Manager will own Molex’s distributor relationships and channel performance across the country. This role will define and execute distributor sales and marketing plans, enable partners to grow Molex’s business with key end customers, and coordinate closely with the Account Managers teams, product marketing and technical teams to capture profitable growth.

Our Team

The Distribution Sales Manager for France is part of the Sales & Marketing division, where you will work closely with a collaborative team of Account Managers, some based in France and others located in Barcelona, to align priorities, share market insights, and win business together.

What You Will Do

  • Build and execute a Distributor Sales & Marketing plan for France with clear quarterly targets (revenue, market share) and regular progress tracking.
  • Create and drive demand-generation programs with distributors (campaigns, webinars, technical trainings, targeted lead generation.
  • Manage distributor performance: set branch-level sales targets, run monthly/quarterly reviews, and implement corrective short-term improvement plans for underperforming branches.
  • Support distributors with joint customer visits and strategic account engagement for key verticals (Automotive, Datacom, Industrial, Aerospace & Defense, Medical, etc.).
  • Align distributor strategy with SDAMs and Field Sales; ensure territory coverage, account ownership, and clear escalation paths.
  • Design and deliver training and enablement (product, application, quoting, inventory rotation) to distributor sales and technical teams.
  • Facilitate executive-level engagement between Molex and distributor leadership (quarterly business reviews, joint strategic planning).
  • Provide market and competitive intelligence, identify new opportunities (new customers, verticals, product lines), and feed insights into regional roadmap planning.
  • Produce written and verbal reports for Molex Sales Management on performance vs. plan, risks, and opportunities; maintain CRM records and sales forecasts.
  • Represent Molex at industry events, trade shows, and distributor-hosted seminars.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or equivalent commercial qualification; business studies an advantage.
  • Proven experience in distributor/channel sales within electronic components, connectors, or related industries.
  • Strong commercial and consultative selling skills; ability to manage multi-stakeholder distributor relationships.
  • Fluent French and in English, additional language skills can be advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within France and occasionally internationally.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with SAP, Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Existing network with target customers in Automotive, Industrial, Datacom, Aerospace & Defense or Medical.
  • Experience running distributor marketing programs or technical enablement initiatives.
  • Familiarity with distributor logistics, stocking models, and price/channel conflict management.
