• We are looking for an experienced embedded software engineer for an assignment with one of our clients in a safety-critical systems space.
• About the role
• You will work with development and verification of embedded software components built on VxWorks RTOS, with full traceability to system requirements in accordance with DO-178C. The role involves both technical implementation and high-quality documentation across the software lifecycle.
• Requirements
• Solid knowledge of VxWorks RTOS – both kernel and user space
• Experience designing and documenting APIs for embedded software components
• Ability to author and maintain Software High-Level Requirements (HLRs) per DO-178C objectives
• Experience defining and documenting architectural design of embedded components and interfaces
• Experience developing and reviewing Software Test Cases and Procedures (STCs/STPs) for C and C++ code
• Strong documentation skills – able to produce development and verification documentation to a high standard
• High attention to detail
