Embedded Software Project Manager

• Ensure cost, quality, and delivery commitments are met and secure the product roadmap
• Translate system requirements into detailed software specifications
• Define the project roadmap
• Plan milestones and sprints to ensure smooth delivery on the target platform
• Orchestrate development and ensure the technical excellence of deliverables
• Oversee software architecture
• Organize code reviews
• Validate hardware/software interoperability
• Coordinate the implementation of HIL/SIL test benches
• Ensure compliance with functional safety standards
• Lead a team of C/C++, Rust, and Linux engineers
• Remove blockers and support skills development
• Provide client reporting
• Manage the technical relationship with hardware teams

Requirements

• 5 to 10 years of experience in embedded software engineering
• At least 3 years of experience in project management or as a Lead Developer
• Strong command of C/C++ development on real-time systems and Embedded Linux
• Proven leadership skills to unite a technical team and manage complex projects
• Analytical rigor when addressing safety requirements and hardware architectures
• Fluent professional English, both spoken and written
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and Rust
• Experience with RTOSs (FreeRTOS, Zephyr), Embedded Linux, and bare-metal development
• Knowledge of CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet, and BLE/Zigbee buses and protocols
• Proficiency with Git, Jira, Confluence, HIL/SIL test benches, and JTAG probes
• Knowledge of ISO 26262, DO-178C, and IEC 62304 standards
