District Retail Manager
Position Overview
You will serve as the primary Polaris representative for a defined dealer district, partnering closely with powersports dealerships to drive profitable retail growth and deliver a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across Central Pennsylvania. In this role you influence dealer performance across sales, merchandising, service, and customer engagement while acting as the voice of the field to internal Polaris stakeholders. You manage relationships, analyze performance, and help align dealer practices with Polaris brand and retail standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner daily with powersports dealerships to strengthen relationships, influence retail performance, and improve the end‑to‑end consumer experience.
- Drive retail growth and market share by supporting dealers across the shopping, buying, and ownership lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain effective Parts, Garments, and Accessories (PG&A), Finance‑and‑Insurance (F&I), and service strategies aligned to market demand and profitability goals.
- Conduct in‑store walk‑throughs to guide showroom merchandising, point‑of‑purchase execution, and seasonal program alignment.
- Support dealer training on sales processes, product knowledge, and certification programs to improve execution and consistency.
- Collaborate with dealers to plan floor layouts, stocking profiles, and merchandising approaches that meet Polaris brand standards.
- Analyze dealer performance, identify gaps in customer experience or operations, and influence corrective actions through training and follow‑up.
- Communicate dealer insights, competitive dynamics, and market trends to internal stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Support dealer network development by prospecting open markets and facilitating dealer upgrades when needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in field sales, retail sales, dealership operations, or related distribution or customer service roles.
- Demonstrated ability to build influence‑based relationships and partner effectively with independent dealers.
- Experience analyzing sales, profitability, or productivity metrics to support data‑informed recommendations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to represent an OEM professionally in‑store.
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to work hands‑on with dealers in a retail or showroom environment.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel extensively within the assigned region, up to approximately 80 %.

Compensation
The starting pay range for Minnesota is $70,600 to $92,700 per year. Individual salaries and placement within the range are determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
