WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Lead and manage a team of Solutions Engineering Managers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure their professional development and success.
• Lead as a technical leader of the team, combining leadership with hands-on technical work.
• Set clear performance expectations and objectives for the team and provide regular feedback and performance reviews.
• Coach and develop Solutions Engineering managers, enhancing their leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Partner with the Sales Leader to provide technical leadership to customers and prospective customers while helping the team meet quarterly sales targets.
• Provide presentations to customers and prospects (whiteboards, product demonstrations, slides, and proof of value outcomes).
• Help customers plan in-depth test plans to show the value of the Wiz platform (proof of value).
• Invest time in learning new product features, industry developments, and broadening technical skillsets.
• Represent Wiz in technical forums such as trade shows, meetups, and industry events.
• Serve as the trusted advisor to customers for cloud security across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Collaborate with regional and global Solutions Engineering leaders to share best practices and drive consistent processes.
• Work with sales, marketing, and product management teams to develop and deliver effective go-to-market strategies.
• Develop and implement strategic regional plans aligned with overall company objectives.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the Solutions Engineering team.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• 5+ years leading a team of Solutions Engineers and first-line SE Managers across multiple customer segments and product lines.
• Experience developing, managing, and coaching the performance of individual contributors and their leaders.
• Track record of recruiting, retaining, developing, and coaching regionally focused skilled SEs and SE leaders.
• Experience deploying programs to advance the technical and selling skills of leaders and SE team members.
• Demonstrated history of partnering with product groups to drive operational excellence and efficiency.
• Experience driving team accountability and deal management in Salesforce.
• Cloud security experience.
• AWS/Azure/GCP hands-on experience.
• Network engineering experience/background.
• Strong operating system, virtual machine, and container knowledge.
• Knowledge of risk-based security assessments and frameworks.
• Understanding of cloud identity, access, certificates, and keys.
• Experience with traditional CSPM tools and/or cloud infrastructure security; technical SaaS selling experience.
• Awareness of the CI/CD process.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code.
