Director of Private & Couture Clients

We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial Director of Private & Couture Clients to join our leadership team. This is a key role responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and managing VIP clientele.

You will be at the forefront of building our client base in France and across key international markets, particularly EMEA & US. As a passionate advocate for Couture and Luxury Ready-to-Wear, you will play a central role in aligning our sales strategy with our long-term business goals and our unique brand positioning.

This role is ideal for someone motivated by helping shape the future of a young, fast-growing luxury house with strong creative and artisanal foundations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Work closely with senior management to define and implement a forward-thinking Client sales and development strategy aligned with company goals

VIP Clienteling & Couture Development

• Develop and nurture Couture clients through exceptional, personalized service in our Paris boutique showroom and atelier with the usage of our CRM system.
• Build long-term relationships with high-net-worth individuals and top collectors.
• Build relationships with brand ambassadors who at an international level will attract target communities
• Oversee Couture fittings and private client experiences in Paris and internationally.
• Drive Ready-to-Wear sales through both boutique and e-commerce channels.
• Ensure a seamless customer experience from day to evening, in-store and online.
• Collaborate with the boutique team to create experiential selling moments.

Experiential Selling & Events

• Create and lead high-impact presentations, trunk shows, and private events in Paris and abroad.
• Represent the brand at international showcases and client activations.

Brand Partnerships & Collaborations

• Identify, develop, and nurture strategic collaborations with complementary luxury, lifestyle, and cultural partners in order to build our database within our target audiences.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with merchandising, operations, PR, design, and atelier teams to ensure strong alignment and flawless execution of initiatives.
• Serve as a passionate ambassador for the collections, communicating design vision, craftsmanship, and heritage with deep product knowledge.

International Travel

• Lead and oversee international presentations, trunk shows, and Couture appointments across key markets.

Profile

• Proven experience (7+ years) in client development within luxury fashion, couture, and luxury Ready-to-Wear.
• Strong international network of VIP clients and potential brand ambassadors
• Entrepreneurial, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-growing, creative start-up environment.
• Excellent relationship-builder with refined communication skills.
• Deep passion for Couture, craftsmanship, and luxury storytelling, with sustainability at its core.
• Strong intercultural awareness and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented, valuing empathy, curiosity, trust, ownership, and accountability.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
