BOISDRON &associations is a recruiting firm for executives in the construction sector (engineering, enterprise, project management, BTP industries) in France and selected regions worldwide. Bureaux : Nantes, Paris, Lyon.

The Industry Europe Project Director reports to the Europe Industry Director and is responsible for the performance guarantee of industrial projects across Europe, including pre‑design agreements, design review agreements and design & build contracts. The role leads the design development, monitors execution up to construction, maintains customer relationships and coordinates the international project design team.

Responsabilités clés & activités

Bidding phase

• Collaborates with the Industry Europe Design Director.
• May temporarily replace the Design Director and works closely with the business development team on the sales offer.

Design phase

• Works in close relationship with the Industry Europe Design Director.
• Contributes to the development and maintenance of the customer relationship, key client contact.
• Uses the supply chain.
• Ensures production of all necessary deliverables (technical memorandum, design optimization proposals, detailed time schedule, method statement, lump sum cost breakdown, etc.).
• Manages all internal and external resources involved in the design.
• Carries out technical design and estimating, collaborating where relevant with the business development team and the project team (local or Industry Europe) from kick‑off to completion and contract signature.
• Optimises the design of the building and its technical solutions.
• Is responsible for the performance guarantee of the design.

Construction phase

• Collaborates with the local project team during construction.
• Is responsible for performance guarantee.
• Participates to monthly steering committees.
• Leads change management.
• Provides technical expertise to support the construction team.
• Ensures respect of work progress with design.
• Maintains customer relationship and remains client key contact.
• Ensures client satisfaction throughout project progress.
• May substitute or replace temporarily local Project Director.

Management of M&E

• Is part of the local project team on site.
• Is responsible for M&E packages.
• Purchases M&E packages.
• Approves subcontractor design of these packages.
• Supervises proper progress of work of M&E packages.
• Guarantees performance of M&E packages.

Profil recherché

• Master's degree in civil engineering and urbanism, M&E or similar.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in construction of industrial buildings.
• Significant M&E experience.
• Languages spoken: fluent English and either Italian or Spanish required; French appreciated.
