About the Role
We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager – Marketplace to drive the digital growth and commercial performance of our new Marketplace platform.
This strategic role will be instrumental in defining and executing the digital marketing strategy to support the successful launch, adoption, and growth of the Marketplace across multiple countries.
You will play a key role in increasing traffic, online orders, and revenues through digital channels while working cross‑functionally with product, IT, content, and country teams.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Digital Marketing Strategy
- Define and execute the digital marketing strategy for the Marketplace
- Support Marketplace growth ambitions by significantly increasing traffic, online orders, and revenues through digital channels
- Build marketing plans aligned with MVP, phased rollout, and country launches (Germany, UK, Spain, Portugal, etc.)
SEO & Organic Growth
- Own Marketplace SEO strategy in collaboration with Web and Content teams
- Define SEO guidelines for:
- Marketplace pages
- Category and product pages
- Multilanguage and multi-country content
- Monitor organic performance and continuously optimize visibility and conversion
- Ensure SEO best practices are embedded from pre‑launch through post‑go‑live
Acquisition Campaigns & Digital Activation
- Plan and execute digital campaigns (paid, owned, earned) to drive Marketplace traffic
- Coordinate launch and post‑launch campaigns with ETT Business Team and country teams
- Support Service Partners and vendors with marketing toolkits, templates, and messaging
Marketplace Launch & Communication
- Contribute to Marketplace naming, branding, and positioning from a digital marketing perspective
- Build and execute launch communication plans including pre‑launch and post‑launch phases
- Coordinate digital promotion across:
- Marketplace website
- Carrier digital channels
- Events and trade shows
Data, Performance & Optimization
- Track and analyze key digital marketing KPIs:
- Traffic and acquisition sources
- Conversion and engagement
- Campaign performance
- Leverage customer and Marketplace data to support future marketing initiatives
- Use insights to continuously improve campaign and content effectiveness
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Marketplace Business Owner and Product teams
- Web, SEO, and Content Managers
- Marketing Communication and Country Marketing teams
- IT teams supporting Marketplace platforms
- Ensure digital marketing actions align with Marketplace capabilities, seller readiness, and content availability
Profile & Qualifications
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in eCommerce or Marketplace environments
- Experience supporting platform launches and international rollouts
- B2B and B2C digital marketing experience is a strong advantage
Functional Skills
- Strong expertise in digital marketing for eCommerce / Marketplace businesses
- Deep understanding of SEO and digital acquisition strategies
- Experience managing multi-country and multi-language campaigns
- Strong analytical and performance-driven mindset
Soft Skills
- Ability to operate in complex, cross-functional environments
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
- Pragmatic and structured approach in fast-moving projects
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
Languages
- Fluent English required
- Additional languages are a plus
