About The Job
Reporting to the Product Line Exec, the DevOps Infrastructure Engineer Expert is responsible for the design and delivery of features and solutions that cover multiple GIP products. A portion of the role covers solution design related to GIP configuration data and documenting its lifecycle within the product department. This role ensures the accuracy, consistency and integrity of configuration data across products and platforms within GIP, and collaborates with product build teams to streamline configuration data usage throughout its lifecycle. The primary focus is high-quality configuration data that can be trusted in all automation processes that GIP is responsible for (e.g., server and database provisioning, in-place upgrades, auto-healing). The role also initiates improvement initiatives with the various GIP product owners.

- Propose control mechanisms (reports, monitoring, alerts) to detect inconsistencies and define corrective actions.
- Identify metadata that provides value and define feeding mechanisms toward data repositories for consumption.
