An exciting opportunity to join our Animal Health Technology Labs as a Mechanical Engineer.

You will join the Applicators research and development team based in Albi (81) or in Vitré (35) and have the opportunity to lead new innovative product and research activities in the area of animal identification and welfare.

Key Responsibilities

• Mechanical design of Animal Identification Product including handheld tools and tags for animal traceability involving metal and plastic parts and associated industrial processes (plastic injection, die casting, machining and assembling processes)
• Product development including ergonomics aspect, environmental impact, and style
• Design of products “Ready for tooling” and follow molds, tools development
• Responsible for the execution of mechanical development aspects, apply the work plans, integration, and verification. Activities include quality and reliability in line with experiments
• Research of innovative concepts
• Published effectively report results to peers and management
• Extensive communication with local and worldwide R&D departments, parties in operation, subcontractors, and others
