Job Overview

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for an experienced Design Process, Methods and Tools (H/F) specialist to join our Digital Airframe team in Toulouse, France .

The Design Methods and Tools team defines processes, methods and digital tools for the next‑generation aircraft and improves them for ongoing programs such as the A320 and A350.

Responsibilities

• Identify the Design Office needs in terms of new design methods and digital tools.
• Evaluate and streamline existing design methods and tools.
• Define acceptance testing for processes, methods, and digital tools.
• Provide responsive support and training for engineers.
• Contribute to the vision and evolution roadmap of digital tools.
• Act as a specialist in design methods and tools and collaborate with IT teams.
• Manage project aspects – time, scope, costs, quality.
• Develop team skills to implement collaborative ways of working and ensure mutual assistance between international team members.
• Understand and act on compliance risks; commit to integrity as the foundation for the company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience (10+ years) in Design Process, Methods and Tools.
• Experience in engineering design modelling methods using CATIA and 3DEXPERIENCE tools.
• Strong communication skills, comfortable in technical presentations.
• Ability to work in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
• English: Advanced level.
