Are you a developer with hands-on experience building cloud-native applications? Would you like to help customers architect, develop, and re-engineer applications to leverage the AWS Cloud, delivering fast, scalable, and cost-effective solutions?

Responsibilities

• Lead complex projects with autonomy, often involving multiple Amazon and customer teams.
• Work with customers and partners to plan, prioritize, and deliver complex transformation initiatives.
• Design and deliver solutions that address new levels of complexity, scale, and performance on the AWS platform.
• Create and apply frameworks, methods, best practices, and artifacts that provide prescriptive guidance to customers, and present them across forums and media.
• Guide customers’ technical architecture and investments to maximize alignment with the AWS platform and ease of adoption as new services become available.
• Collaborate with Sales and Service Teams during engagements and contribute to proof-of-concept projects and workshops.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in large-scale software development or application engineering with recent coding experience in two or more languages (e.g., Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Python, Node.js, .NET, PHP, Ruby).
• Experience as a technical specialist in customer-facing roles.
• Ability to think about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
• French and English language proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, or Math.
• Experience architecting, designing, and developing applications on the AWS platform.
• Designing and building applications using container and serverless technologies.
• Experience architecting highly available systems with load balancing, horizontal scalability, and reliability.
• Exposure to Agile software development and DevOps practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CDK, CloudFormation).
• Experience with CI tools (e.g., AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
• Experience working directly with customers, partners, or third-party developers.
