Overview

As a Data Compliance Officer (Data Records Manager) at Ayvens, you support the deployment of First Line of Defense (LOD1) Data Compliance, protecting the company and its customers while strengthening compliance through well‑managed data.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross‑functional teams across international entities for successful deployment of the Data Records Management policy.
  • Implement data lifecycle management processes to strengthen data compliance programs.
  • Support departments in recording, implementing, and maintaining data retention and disposal rules.
  • Drive records management deployment strategy within your perimeter, including the purging strategy.
  • Advise and support stakeholders involved in purge implementation (systems, principles, methodology, tooling, etc.).
  • Communicate status, issues, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations.
  • Monitor progress, identify risks, and manage mitigation actions across initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 7–10 years of experience delivering projects or initiatives in data, analytics, IT transformation, compliance, or governance, ideally with multi‑stakeholder collaboration.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to engage, influence and align teams across functions and locations.
  • Solid knowledge of data lifecycle and records management (retention, disposal, and practical implementation of records practices).
  • Good understanding of data privacy and protection regulations (e.g., GDPR and local laws).
  • Project‑oriented mindset: monitor progress, dependencies, and risks, and drive mitigation actions through structured follow‑up and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and facilitation abilities, providing clear guidance to business and delivery teams.
  • Fluent in English.

Additional Requirements

  • Master’s degree in information systems, Data Management, or a related field (preferred).
  • Ability to work in project mode and manage complex, multi‑stakeholder initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships with application owners, IT teams, and Security.
  • Strong training, facilitation, and awareness‑raising skills.
  • Comfortable producing clear reporting and presentations for senior stakeholders.
