Data Project Manager

Ayvens is seeking a Data Project Manager to lead data initiatives, including enterprise data platforms, analytics products, governance frameworks, and compliance programs. This role contributes to the Digital Transformation of the Data Management organization and aligns business objectives with data strategy.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of data projects — from scoping and planning to execution, delivery, and post-implementation review.
• Coordinate with data engineers, data architects, security teams, business stakeholders, and other required stakeholders to define project requirements and priorities.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and manage risks.
• Communicate project status, issues, and dependencies to stakeholders through clear reporting and presentations.
• Facilitate governance and compliance activities (e.g., data quality, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements).
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management methodologies and data delivery practices.

This offer concerns one major data initiative called Eden (Enterprise Data Engine) aimed at delivering a data ingestion platform that adheres to BCBS239 regulatory requirements and rolling it out to all Ayvens entities.

Who we are looking for

• A hands-on Data Project Manager who can take ownership of complex data initiatives and drive them to completion. Structure, pragmatism, and the ability to communicate at different levels are essential.
• Value reliability, accountability, and the ability to translate strategy into concrete, deliverable outcomes.
• Strong execution mindset and the ability to turn plans into delivered results.
• Experience dealing with complex stakeholder landscapes and managing competing priorities.
• Ability to identify risks early and address them at the right level proactively.
• Clear and concise communication, focused on facts and outcomes.

Required experience: 5–10 years in project management, ideally within data, analytics, or IT transformation environments. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in project management, ideally within data, analytics, or IT transformation environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder projects in multicultural environments.
• Familiar with Agile or hybrid project methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, PMP, etc.).
• Understanding of data platforms, data pipelines, and governance concepts, in Azure environments (ADF, Databricks).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with SG Group policies is a plus.
• Fluent in English.
