Cybersecurity Platform Engineer

As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the integration, evolution, operation, performance, and optimization of the group's cybersecurity platforms. You serve as the technical reference point, actively contributing to the continuous improvement of platform capabilities in protection, detection, and response against cyber threats, based on constant technology monitoring and deep expertise.

As a Cybersecurity Platform Engineer, you are responsible for the integration, evolution, operation, performance, and optimization of the group's cybersecurity platforms.

Responsibilities

Management & Evolution of Cybersecurity Platforms

• Participate in the integration of new platforms or modules alongside BUILD teams, aligned with the group's cyber strategy. Ensure proper acceptance of platforms or new modules.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure optimal integration and functioning of platforms hosted within the IT infrastructure.
• Operate and maintain platforms in Operational and Security Condition (MCO/MCS) by supervising MSSP teams, including:
• Ensuring proper platform integration within the cybersecurity ecosystem (alert/log forwarding to SIEM, CTI feed ingestion, configurations, etc.)
• Ensuring platform configurations meet operational and security requirements
• Overseeing access implementation (access structure, RBAC model, accounts)
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation (architectures, operating procedures, user guides)
• Managing the lifecycle of existing platforms: version upgrades, patch application, performance optimization, and resilience
• Supervising tuning activities and adapting usage strategies
• Managing exception requests
• Monitoring platform availability and service performance
• Analyzing logs, metrics, and technical alerts to identify improvement opportunities
• Tracking platform-related technical incidents
• Developing scripts and automation tools to optimize platform operations
• Maintaining platform security configurations, role models, user/admin account recertification, and access log analysis
• Conduct technology monitoring and analysis of new trends in platform-related domains
• Actively contribute to improving platform management processes and services
• Produce and distribute dashboards and reports on platform status, performance, and effectiveness
• Analyze feedback from cyber teams to propose improvements and service evolutions
• Lead MSSP reviews to validate proper execution of MCO/MCS services
• Collect team needs regarding patches or new features; lead regular vendor reviews to identify planned evolutions and track deliveries

Qualifications

• Education: Engineering degree in Computer Science, with specialization in Cybersecurity
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity platform engineering or operations, ideally in a SOC/CERT environment

Required Skills

• Strong cybersecurity expertise: attack & defense techniques, vulnerabilities, detection & incident response
• Security Solutions: SIEM, EDR, SOAR, NDR, Cyber Threat Intelligence services
• Languages: Fluent English and French – mandatory

Preferred Skills

• Analytical mindset, rigor, quality-oriented, strong reporting skills
• Technology Watch: Active monitoring of emerging trends
• Certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH or equivalent (a plus)
