Cyber Threat Analyst (h/f) – France

Join our Hornetsecurity Threat Intelligence Lab in France and participate in Threat Hunting activities to enhance Cyber Threat Intelligence on a daily basis.

Your Job

Drawing on your knowledge of the email ecosystem, you will apply your networking expertise and investigative mindset to analyze malicious email campaigns, uncover attack patterns, and identify emerging threats. Standard working hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (forfait heures) for this position.

• Monitor and analyze data from various threat intelligence sources to detect cyber threats and collect TTPs and IoCs.
• Participate in the analysis of threats targeting our clients, including malware, phishing campaigns, and APTs (Advanced Persistent Threats).
• Collaborate with other teams to share information and coordinate incident response efforts.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security processes and tools.
• Documentation and reporting of new spam behaviour and techniques.

Participate in a follow-the-sun schedule with Japan and Canada; one day of weekend will be handled with a compensatory resting day.

Your Profile

Technical Skills:

• Fundamental knowledge of cybersecurity: CIA triad (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability), vulnerability management, APTs, standards and frameworks.
• Understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS) and packet analysis.
• Knowledge SQL + Regex desirable or currently being learned.

• Creativity and the ability to propose innovative solutions to emerging threats.
• Resilience and calmness under stressful situations.
• Understanding of threat management principles.
• Collaborative mindset that encourages teamwork, and individual ownership.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• English, written and spoken, is required.
