Country Manager (France) France (Remote)

We are seeking a highly motivated Country Manager to lead our operations, strategy, and growth within France, focusing on EV charging and battery storage solutions for both residential and commercial applications. This role is ideal for a dynamic leader with deep industry knowledge, business development expertise, and a passion for sustainable mobility and energy storage.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute market expansion strategies for home and business EV charging and battery storage solutions in France.
• Sales & Partnerships: Build and nurture relationships with OEMs, utility providers, government agencies, commercial clients, and key industry stakeholders.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee deployment, maintenance, and customer support for both residential and commercial charging infrastructure and battery storage systems.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to French energy regulations, permitting requirements, and industry standards for both sectors.
• Financial Performance: Manage P&L, set revenue targets, and optimize operations for sustainable growth.
• Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team to drive business success.
• Market Insights: Monitor industry trends, battery storage innovations, and regulatory developments to inform strategic decisions.
• Grid Integration & Energy Management: Support bidirectional charging, battery storage integration, and energy management solutions for homes and businesses, including grid-connected and islanding modes

Requirements

• Proven experience in EV charging, battery storage, renewable energy, or related sectors.
• Strong business development, sales, and operational management skills.
• Deep understanding of grid integration, battery storage technologies, and French regulatory frameworks.
• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel across France and internationally as needed.
