We are currently seeking a Project Cost Engineer to join our Cost Control & Risk Management team based in Nanterre.

About the mission we offer you

Hierarchically reports to the Head of Cost Control Department and operationally reports to the Lead Cost Control of the Project, you will:

• Estimate total project cost at completion for complex projects
• Develop, update and maintain project budget and forecasting
• Monitor the project financial performance in a multicultural environment

Main responsibilities

• Set up Cost Control Procedures
• Set up Budgets and the specific tools to follow the project costs
• Implement the in‑house digital solutions and their latest enhancements
• Estimate Total Forecasts, Quantity / Costs and Expected Outcomes
• Provide support to the Risk Manager to prepare the Quantitative Risk Analysis
• Approve commitment control and vendor/subcontractors invoice
• Assist Project Managers in optimizing and improving the budgeted profits
• Prepare change orders / claims, and follow up
• Generate monthly internal Project Management Review (PMR) / external status reports (client reports)
• Develop statistical and close‑out reports, with a view towards improving feedback data and estimation tools on future contracts / proposals

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
• 2 to 5 years of experience in related field
• Confirmed experience (ideally 2 years minimum) in Engineering & Construction Industry within project environment is a plus.
• Professional English
• Rigorous
• Solid analytical and problem solving skills
• Team worker and able to chair meetings within multi‑cultural teams and clients
• Establish good relationship and cooperation with colleagues in the project team

Seen as a plus

• Digital culture
• Background in a technical engineering discipline.
• Other experience in Project Control, such as: Risk Management, Scheduling, Estimating.
