Build and strengthen Malt's visibility in the French media landscape by managing the relationship with journalists, PR agency relationships, producing high-impact press content (op‑eds, press releases, interviews) and embedding Malt within key institutional ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • French PR Strategy: Define and execute the quarterly and annual press strategy (press releases, op‑eds, interviews) aligned with Malt's product, data and corporate milestones.
  • Media Relations & Network: Manage and grow a network of key French journalists (economic, business, tech, HR, mainstream press) and position Malt as the go‑to voice on the future of work and AI. Minimum 7 years of active journalist network required.
  • Press Content Production: Write and coordinate high-impact press materials (press releases, op‑eds, pitches, tribunes) leveraging Malt's existing data and narratives.
  • Spokesperson Preparation: Brief and coach C‑level spokespersons ahead of interviews, events and public positions (key messages, risk management).
  • Institutional Relations: Represent Malt within France Digitale, French Tech and other relevant bodies; build alliances that strengthen Malt's reputation and influence.

Qualifications

  • PR Expertise & Media Strategy: 7+ years in a PR agency or equivalent in‑house role. Strong command of news cycles, editorial formats and press content strategy.
  • Journalist Network: Established contacts across French media (business, tech, mainstream, HR press). Ability to activate and nurture these relationships over time.
  • Writing & Narrative: Ability to turn complex data or technical topics into compelling press content (op‑eds, press releases, pitches).
  • Institutional Partnerships: Knowledge of French Tech / France Digitale ecosystems. Ability to represent Malt externally and build strategic alliances.
  • PR Agency Management: Experience briefing, managing and evaluating an external PR agency in alignment with internal objectives and narratives.
  • Spokesperson Coaching: Writing briefs, talking points and training materials for C‑level ahead of interviews and public events.

Hiring Process

  • First call with Claudia Ferrand, our Talent Acquisition Manager, to better understand your background, aspirations and answer any questions you may have. (30–45 minutes)
  • Interview with your future manager, Lauréline Tansini, to delve into your experience and the specifics of the role. (45–60 minutes)
  • Home assignment to complete, which will be evaluated in order to assess your technical skills.
  • Final interview with Carla, Malt’s CMO, to discuss Malt’s long‑term vision.
