Your responsibilities
Reporting to the Global Drills Director, you will be responsible for providing management with the results of the economic and financial analyses required for the operational and strategic steering of the “Global Drills” units.
You will develop procedures as well as management and reporting tools by defining the main guidelines for controls and indicators to be implemented and by designing activity dashboards (weekly, monthly or quarterly).
You will be responsible for developing and managing the budgeting process, the quarterly forecasts, and for coordinating the activities required for their preparation while calculating cost prices.
You will collect, analyze and consolidate budget data from operational departments and profit centers by carrying out economic and financial analyses and by preparing business cases for strategic projects.
You will analyze the company’s performance by reviewing variances between actual results and budgets or targets, and perform reconciliations between accounting statements and results from reports and dashboards.
You will provide accounting with data to be integrated into the results to ensure better alignment with the economic reality of the business.
You will identify optimization opportunities and support operational managers in achieving cost savings.
You will define and optimize the financial information system and provide the financial information required for decision‑making.
Your profile
Holding a university degree at Master’s level or equivalent in company finance, accounting management or financial audit, you have at least 7 years of experience in a similar position and are able to handle numerical data with method and rigor.
You enjoy anticipating deviations and proposing corrective actions by taking a global view of situations or issues and by identifying relevant sources of information.
You have full professional proficiency in English, German would also be appreciated, as well as strong skills in the MS Office suite.
