Contract/Energy Manager (Paris)

We are supporting a growing european energy platform active across Europe, focused on renewable energy, self-consumption, power markets, and energy optimisation solutions . As part of its expansion in Paris , the business is looking to strengthen its capabilities in energy contracting and market operations.

This is a key opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-evolving environment , where you will play a central role in structuring and managing energy-related agreements.

As Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of energy contracts , ensuring they are commercially sound, compliant, and aligned with market dynamics.

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of energy-related agreements , including market access, PPAs, and other commercial structures
• Manage the full lifecycle of contracts , from initiation through execution to renewal or termination
• Ensure alignment of contractual terms with business objectives, risk exposure, and regulatory frameworks
• Work closely with internal teams (legal, finance, trading) to structure robust and competitive agreements
• Monitor contract performance, obligations, and compliance , identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies
• Support risk management activities , particularly in relation to market volatility and counterparties
• Track regulatory developments and market trends to anticipate impacts on contractual structures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, utilities, and institutional stakeholders
• Produce reporting and analysis on contract performance and recommend improvements where relevant
• 5+ years of experience in energy markets, renewables, or utility‑related contracting
• Strong exposure to PPAs, market agreements, or structured energy products
• Good understanding of regulatory frameworks and market dynamics in France and Europe
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Fluent in French and English
