Compliance Officer

Primary Responsibilities

• Oversight onboarding and KYC
• Oversight of loan portfolio (mostly Netherlands, France)
• Oversight of deposit portfolio
• Ensure that all compliance risks are thoroughly reviewed and accurately assessed by the Credit Committee
• Ensure all deals are correctly assessed at Credit Committee
• Correspondence with external counterparties
• Investigation of discrepancies and related follow-up actions
• Reconciliation of bank account movements and balances
• Stakeholder reporting
• Prepare board and executive level presentations to guide business strategy decision making and reporting

Profile required

• 3+ years of back office, loan administration experience, credit analysis or Compliance in a bank
• Master Degree in Corporate Financial Management
• Good knowledge of loans and banking institutions
• Credit and Risk Management experiences would be a strong plus
• Skills in loan document inventory management and record keeping
• Strong IT and systems skills (Excel proficiency, loan management systems, electronic banking systems, SQL, Python and VBA, etc…)
• High attention to detail, controls and ability to multi-task
• Ability to adapt and work quickly and accurately under pressure to meet required deadlines
• Strong problem solving and analysis skills, combined with effective judgment and communication skills
• Team player with good relationship building skills. The position requires continuous interaction with other internal departments and external partners
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. International experiences
• Master Degree in Corporate Financial Management
• Fluent in English. French, Dutch or Spanish would be an advantage
