Responsibilities
- Managing the internal operations of the firm, including Middle Office, Settlement and IT (including cybersecurity).
- Responsibility for business continuity planning, operational continuity, resilience and strategy.
- Responsibility for the firm’s outsourcing activities and legal department.
- Responsibility for reporting to the Board on operational topics and issues, including oversight of FACTA/CRS matters (Responsible Officer).
- Responsibility for the oversight, maintenance and management of the firm’s Operational Resilience Self‑Assessment.
- Responsibility for coordinating and overseeing Amundi (UK) Limited’s arrangements to support clients, especially the Client Service Function and Middle Office Function.
- Ensuring an appropriate reporting organisation that meets regulator expectations for MiFID reporting (internal) and EMIR reporting (outsourced to CACEIS), including quality assessments.
Principal Accountabilities
- Member of London Management, contributing to business development and ensuring effective governance structures, systems and controls.
- Deputise for the Chief Executive of Amundi (UK) Limited when required.
- Set and follow high standards of conduct, keep current with regulatory requirements and obtain legal/compliance advice. Delegate responsibilities and specify escalation issues.
- Encourage a culture that ensures appropriate client support and drives appropriate behaviours from employees.
- Responsible for systems and controls of Amundi (UK) Ltd, including financial affairs, information security, risk exposure, internal controls, policies and procedures, and reporting to the Board.
- Put in place effective systems and controls and provide guidance on issues to be escalated.
- Promptly resolve any compliance or control issues identified and enhance related policies, systems and controls.
- Effectively supervise the competence and conduct of employees through supervisory techniques, monitoring delegated functions, and providing training and mentoring.
Legal and Regulatory Responsibilities
- Comply with all applicable legal, regulatory and internal compliance requirements, including the London Compliance Manual and the Financial Crime Policy. Complete mandatory training in line with these requirements.
- Maintain appropriate knowledge to be fully qualified for the role and complete mandatory training to attain and maintain competence.
- Implement internal systems and controls and ensure staff adhere to requirements.
- Refrain from actions that could lead to removal of certification of fitness and propriety.
- Carry out all necessary steps to satisfy the annual certification process.
- Comply with all applicable conduct rules, including Senior Manager conduct rules prescribed by the regulator.
- Fully cooperate with the handover of Senior Manager functions resulting from a change in role.

Bachelor Degree / BSc Degree or equivalent
Experience
- Proven senior leadership experience in an operations, COO or equivalent role within asset management or a regulated financial services environment.
- Experience operating within a regulated environment, with a good understanding of governance, systems and controls, and Senior Managers Regime responsibilities.
- Experience overseeing regulatory reporting processes, including MiFID and EMIR reporting.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of asset management operations, including middle office, settlement, client service, outsourcing and technology oversight.
- Strong understanding of operational resilience, business continuity planning and crisis management.
- Knowledge of information security and cybersecurity principles, and ability to oversee related risks and controls.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with ability to influence and report effectively at Board and senior management level.
- Strong judgement, problem‑solving and risk awareness, with ability to identify and elevate issues appropriately.
- Effective people leadership skills, including supervision, delegation, coaching and performance management.
- A collaborative and pragmatic approach, with ability to drive service quality, control improvement and sound governance.
