Community Manager in Venture Capital
>commit is a new Venture Capital fund investing primarily in Open Source and infrastructure software companies at the beginning of their journey. We create strong relationships with the best builders and developers in Europe early on, and support them in building global companies.
In the past year, >commit has built the biggest community dedicated to supporting European Open Source entrepreneurs.
This community is made of 3 different personas:
- Over 50 founders and C-Levels of top Open Source companies like Mozilla, Supabase, HuggingFace, DbtLabs, Neo4j, Docker, etc.
- Over 30 CTOs and CIOs of big groups (NBC Universal, BNP Paribas, Orange Datadog, Airbus, etc.)
- Top executives such as the community managers & head of developer relationships at Open AI, Nebius, MongoDB, etc.
In addition, >commit will invest in many Open Source projects which will constitute its portfolio of investments.
We are building a community-based VC with a mission to connect and empower the builders who create the foundational layers of the modern software stack.
