Freelance Consultant – Commercial Due Diligence (Healthcare)

We are partnering with a specialist strategy advisory firm delivering Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) projects to Private Equity investors across the Healthcare sector.

Due to continued deal flow, they are building a bench of high-calibre freelance consultants to support execution-heavy diligence work throughout 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for Consultants / Associates fromstrategy firms looking for high-intensity, short-format project work in the PE healthcare space.

The Role

You will support fast-paced, buy-side commercial due diligence engagements, typically lasting 2–4 weeks, working as part of a lean project team.

Workstreams typically include:

• Business model & commercial performance analysis

• Market landscape assessment and competitive positioning

• Customer validation and product-market fit evaluation

• Growth plan assessment and forecast modelling

• Commercial risk identification and strategic recommendation development

This is a hands-on execution role requiring strong analytical and presentation skills.

About You

We are looking for candidates with:

• 1–4 years’ experience in strategy consulting

• Exposure to Healthcare / Life Sciences / MedTech projects

• Experience supporting commercial due diligence, market assessments, or corporate strategy work

• Strong Excel modelling capability (forecasting, market sizing, scenario analysis)

• Excellent PowerPoint storytelling and slide structuring skills

• Ability to commit full-time to 2–4 week sprints

Healthcare exposure is important, though a pure strategy background with relevant sector project experience will also be considered.
