My Consumer Services/Manufacturing Client is looking for a Commercial Director to lead their commercial growth agenda across France and the Benelux region. This is a high‑impact leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, strengthening customer satisfaction, and expanding our market presence across diverse verticals
Key Responsibilities
As the Commercial Director, you will:
- Lead and manage the commercial strategy, sales performance, and customer satisfaction agenda for France and Benelux.
- Drive revenue and margin growth by developing and executing high‑impact sales initiatives.
- Manage and inspire the regional Sales and Customer Service teams to achieve ambitious targets.
- Build strong relationships with key customers, influencers, installers, OEMs, distributors, and governing bodies.
- Create and manage the regional sales budget, ensuring delivery against plan.
- Develop a strong pipeline of opportunities aligned with product portfolio and market priorities.
- Use market insights and customer feedback to identify future opportunities and develop strategic business cases.
- Present forecasts, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Lead the regional customer service organisation, ensuring continuous improvement and increased customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to strategic planning and major growth initiatives across the company.
- Partner with Marketing, Business Development, and Technical teams to influence product development and targeted initiatives.
- Ensure strong sales process discipline, pricing consistency, and margin optimisation.
- Frequently travel across France and Benelux to engage customers, support the team, and represent the client at industry events.
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10/20 years’ proven success in senior sales leadership roles.
- Deep understanding of the French and Benelux markets, industries, customer behaviours, and competitive landscape.
- Ability to travel frequently across France and the broader Benelux region.
- Experience managing customer service operations.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to motivate high‑performing teams.
- Strong strategic, analytical, and planning abilities.
- Experienced with ERP, CRM, and using analytics to drive performance.
- Results‑oriented, commercial mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship‑building skills at all levels.
