Role Overview

As a Business Analyst at Picnic, you’ll be at the forefront of innovation, tackling complex challenges with fresh, groundbreaking and lasting solutions. Your focus is on driving impact: analyzing data, identifying opportunities, developing strategies that push boundaries, and redefining the grocery shopping experience for millions of customers.

Responsibilities

• Solving real‑life puzzles: approach business questions like a consultant, invent solutions, and own the path to success.
• Innovating across borders: work on projects spanning three countries and contribute to Picnic’s in‑house innovation, shaping the business model as we grow.
• Building sustainable solutions: from concept to implementation, design, build, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure solutions work in the real world.
• Owning solutions end‑to‑end: take full ownership from concept through implementation, building and executing on ideas that impact millions of customers.
• Leading with ambition: use determination, creativity and grit to take the driver’s seat and redefine the grocery shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Strong quantitative foundation: Master’s degree in Engineering, Econometrics, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable quantitative field.
• Proven impact in dynamic environments: 2‑4 years of experience in a fast‑paced environment, start‑up, or scale‑up. Experience in business consulting is a big plus.
• Problem‑solver at heart: thrive on complex, real‑world challenges and excel at breaking big, ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
• Clear and confident communicator: strong communication skills in English, able to translate abstract plans into structured solutions for stakeholders.
• Go‑getter with an entrepreneurial mindset: cut through ambiguity, take initiative, and turn ideas into action.
• Analytical mindset: strong grasp of math, logic, and quantitative reasoning, with a data‑driven approach. Experience with SQL and Python is a plus.

Additional Requirements

Please note: This is not a one‑time hire. We’re hiring for this role throughout the year as part of our ongoing growth and expansion. A EU citizenship or valid visa to work in the EU is required for this position.
