Coating Operator

UPM Adhesive Materials is looking for a Coating Operator for our team in Mills River, North Carolina.

What you will do

• Operate coating equipment safely to produce high-quality products that meet customer specifications
• Work across production areas and build skills through cross-training
• Monitor product quality and communicate safety or process concerns promptly
• Support continuous improvement and effective shift handovers
• Safely move materials and operate forklifts and reel movers as needed

Working schedule: Full‑time position working 12‑hour rotating shifts in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Who you are

• You are experienced in a fast‑paced manufacturing or production environment
• You have a strong commitment to safety and adherence to procedures
• You are comfortable using computers and digital systems for data entry and reporting
• You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with different teams open to cross‑training and continuous improvement

Location: Mills River, North Carolina, USA. Position holder will report to Coating Supervisor at our Mills River Factory.
