Mission
Join our dynamic Global IT Technology Services team as a Cloud Engineer to optimize the use of cloud services across the Group.
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong engineering background, excellent communication skills, with deep expertise in AWS, particularly in architecture, governance, cost management (FinOps), and security. He will assist our teams in modernizing their solutions and optimizing the use of cloud services.
Responsibilities
- AWS Governance and FinOps: Implement and manage best practices for governance and cost management to optimize AWS expenses.
- Solution Modernization and Architecture: Act as an AWS architect to collaborate with teams and AWS support to modernize and optimize existing solutions using AWS services. Propose innovative, differentiating infrastructure capabilities that enhance employee productivity.
- Cloud Security: Ensure the implementation of best security practices to protect data and applications in the cloud. Manage security risks in collaboration with our Security team.
- Multi-cloud Support: Provide support and advice on the use of Azure and GCP services, in addition to AWS solutions.
- Automation and Optimization: Develop scripts and tools to automate cost management processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Training and Awareness: Train internal teams on best practices for well-architected, costs, security, and use of cloud services. Stay updated on the latest technological developments in the field of cloud computing and share knowledge with the team.
Requirements / Profile
- Expertise in AWS, particularly in architecture, governance, FinOps and security.
- Skills in automation and scripting (Python, Terraform, etc.).
- Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural team environment in English, with excellent verbal and written communication.
- Self-driven, self-motivated, result-oriented, and a highly effective team player.
- 3-5 year experience in cloud project management and solution modernization.
- Experience with Azure and GCP services.
Qualifications
- Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- AWS certifications are required, ideally Solutions Architect.
- Azure and GCP certifications are a plus.
