Cognizant France is hiring a Client Partner - Retail & Consumer Goods. The role is part of the growth of Cognizant's French business and involves daily exposure to clients and senior management. It reports into the Head of France and is based in the La Défense headquarters, Paris. The position offers a hybrid work model and opportunities to thrive and grow within the Sales Leadership Team.
Overview
Client Partners play a key role in growth, tasked with rapid business expansion within assigned accounts, responsible for growth, health, and prospects of account relationships. The Client Partner is the end-to-end account owner responsible for overall account P&L and senior client relationships. The client partner is a leader with outstanding abilities in building relationships at the CxO level and an extensive network of executives, strong drive to enhance revenues, improve operating margin, and foster employee growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth by identifying and leading all aspects of the closure of new, renewal, and expansion opportunities in the Retail, Consumer Goods and Hospitality Market Unit.
- Develop client engagement strategies and quantify costs of pursuit.
- Lead accountability against measurable revenue/profit growth within set timelines.
- Be part of senior management reviews for the performance metrics of the account and liaise with delivery, operations and finance teams.
- Collaborate with multiple service lines, innovation teams and business teams to formulate a business plan and implement it at the account level.
- Hold regular meetings with existing and new customers' decision makers and influencers.
- Be responsible for execution and customer satisfaction in all revenue portfolios.
- Identify and forge partnerships and tap into existing alliance partnerships to grow the portfolio.
- Shape the thought‑leadership agenda and drive execution of the innovation agenda for the portfolio.
- Develop a plan to increase Cognizant’s visibility in the account relationship.
- Track insurance industry trends relevant to the client business and bring forth proactive ideas and solutions.
- Serve as the day‑to‑day point of contact for the clients, responsible for backlog growth including renewals and extensions of current engagements.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in a client‑facing role with previous IT professional services or offshore outsourcing firms.
- At least 8 years dedicated to growing Retail, Consumer Goods, and Hospitality businesses, working with the C‑suite on transformation deals.
- Experience managing client P&L, including reporting and metric assessment for the account.
- Excellent ability and aptitude to influence and communicate effectively with business stakeholders up to the C‑suite.
- Proactive mindset to connect with the ecosystem (vendors, service providers, software companies) and create global multi‑tower solutions.
- Ability to interface at all levels of an organization.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English.
- Business mindset, leader by influence, strong ability to call SMEs at the table and be a game‑changer.
