Special Counsel / Partner - Civil Litigation (Columbia, SC or Remote in SC)

Salary will be based on the candidate's experience and other job-related factors, in accordance with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Defend civil litigation claims, with an emphasis on construction litigation, products liability, professional liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation.
• Manage cases from inception through trial and arbitration.
• Provide strategic counsel and strong courtroom advocacy.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support an active and expanding litigation docket.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in South Carolina.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation defense experience.
• Strong track record of handling cases through trial and/or arbitration.
• Excellent writing, advocacy, and client communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑volume practice.
