Chemical Manufacturing Technician - Vichy

We are currently seeking a purpose-driven candidate with an ownership mentality to fill an open position as a Chemical Manufacturing Technician. This position will be located in Vichy, MO.
Summary
Chemical Manufacturing Technicians and Specialists play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery, adherence to quality standards, and timely production of high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Execute assembly and chemical production tasks with precision and attention to detail.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in the chemical manufacturing process.
- Monitor and report any deviations or defects in the chemical manufacturing process.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including equipment logs, quality reports, and inventory documentation.
- Collaborate with the quality team to document and address any nonconformities.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to create a safe working environment.
- Report any safety concerns or incidents promptly.
- Operate process‑related chemical manufacturing equipment such as pumps, compressors, and valves in a safe and environmentally responsible manner, considering chemical hazards and safety.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor technical issues.
- Monitor chemical manufacturing process equipment and conditions including process levels, temperatures, pressures, and flow rates.
- Assist and prepare intermediate or finished product synthesis, formulation, purification, bottling, labeling, and packaging.
- Interpret test results on chemical materials and products and compare against specifications.
- Observe chemical materials and process behavior.
- Identify nonconformities and act based on control plans or material review.
- Comply with cleanroom protocols and perform general housekeeping tasks and clean‑up procedures.
Education & Credentials
- High school diploma or equivalent and
- Minimum 2 years of related technician experience or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
