Chemical Engineer - Executive Level M/FMain missions Plan sampling and analysis campaigns and coordinate interventions with field teams and laboratories. Monitor tests and coordinate laboratory analyses. Carry out and support the performance of laboratory tests. Train new operators in the tests. Lead inter-laboratory comparisons and make use of the results. Participate in sampling campaigns. Collect, centralize, check and technically validate analytical results. Analyze discrepancies and regulatory exceedances. Update databases and monitoring tables. Ensure reporting, participate in follow-up meetings and present the results. Write test reports and contribute to the preparation of proposals. Day-to-day laboratory management Ensure the monitoring of maintenance and metrology of equipment. Manage stocks and order consumables. Ensure the proper operation and good condition of the laboratory. Clean and keep analytical equipment in good condition. Hold a Master’s level degree (Bac+5) in chemistry, environment or an equivalent field, or have a different education supplemented by significant experience in this field. Have significant experience in the field of water, particularly in wastewater and/or water intended for human consumption. Master water sampling methods and/or laboratory analysis techniques. Master the main analytical techniques, in particular: p
H, COD, TSS, ICP-MS, SMARTCHEM, colorimetry (SMARTCHEM/FUTURA) and other laboratory methods. Know the COFRAC NF EN ISO/IEC 17025 reference framework and the regulations applicable to the field. Demonstrate strong organizational, planning and coordination skills. Have good analytical and summarizing skills. Be proficient in Word and Excel office tools in a Windows environment. The salary offered for this position is between 43,000 and 48,000 gross per year, depending on your experience and qualifications.
