Alongside the European PR & Events Director, you will excel and thrive in this role:
STRATEGY DEPLOYMENT
- Strategic Deployment: Develop and lead the overall PR and Influence strategy for Europe.
- European Steering: Oversee and support the deployment of PR and Influence across each European market in collaboration with local teams, ensuring alignment and consistency of activations and messages globally.
- Influencer and Media Selection: Establish a mapping of key influencer profiles and media outlets, ensuring their relevance and alignment with Sephora's brand strategy and image, and quantified objectives (KPIs).
- Seeding Strategy : Define and orchestrate seeding programs from conception to distribution, as a major strategic lever for amplifying influence + ensuring the correct annual calendar.
- Support for Partner Brands and In‑Store Activations: Provide strategic expertise and operational support to exclusive brands, Sephora Collection, and in‑store initiatives (e.g., launches, thematic campaigns), to maximize their PR and Influence visibility (targeted recommendations, optimisation of Sephora's presence across all PR materials and events).
- PR Tools: Design and monitor European press releases and other communication tools.
- PR Trips: Participate in the organization of major press and influencer events (e.g., SEPHORI e Europe and ad‑hoc PR trips), ensuring impeccable execution.
- Crisis Management: Contribute to crisis communication management in collaboration with the Corporate Communication teams and the European PR/Event Director.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor market trends, PR/Influence innovations, and benchmarks.
- Calendar: Keep the annual activations calendar up‑to‑date.
ANALYSIS, IMPACT & BUDGET
- Performance Measurement: Develop dashboards and relevant KPIs to measure, analyse, and evaluate the impact and ROI of PR and Influence actions conducted in Europe. Propose strategic adjustments based on these insights.
- Tool Optimization: Ensure optimal use and evolution of monitoring platforms for precise analysis, effective reporting, and efficient follow‑up with markets.
- Budget Management: Develop, manage, and optimise the budget allocated to influence and public relations activities at the European level, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP
- Team Animation: Animate the European PR and Influence community, fostering collaboration.
- Intern Management: Close collaboration for project follow‑up.
- Transversal Leadership: Influence and mobilise internal (marketing, social media, events, studio, etc.) and external (agencies, partners) teams around PR and Influence strategies.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in Public Relations and Influence, ideally gained within an international team.
- If you aspire to collaborate closely with diverse markets, animate a community, and deploy and manage the PR/Influence strategy across Europe, then this role is for you.
- Curious and passionate about the beauty industry.
- Organised, rigorous, and possessing an excellent analytical mind.
- Comfortable in an international and collaborative environment.
- Able to communicate effectively in English within a professional context (both oral and written).
